maybe it's me having more time to read the newspapers, or maybe our wonderful the straits times now have more creative writers. flipping through the home section today, i came across a couple of very amusing and highly entertaining headlines:

1. 'Gomez laughed, but i didn't think he was joking'
yep, he was mighty serious, that's why he was laughing you see. perhaps another lesson is to never joke with our mighty ruling party.

2. SDA posters removed in MacPherson as 'too big'
too big! "..candidate had all 300 of his posters in MacPherson removed by the authorities as they were too big." poor thing, no posters! see, too big also a problem. sigh.

3. Volunteers act as eyes and ears for PAP
also known as sa1 ka1 in hokkien. worse still is the fact that such people are proud of it. eww.

aiyah don't say so much i don't get to vote anyway. sian!

my camp's stupid MO is always slacking off. went back at 1pm today and he was already not around. to think last time he even ticked me off for reporting sick in the afternoon. people might actually be busy in the morning, doctor? so i'll have to go back camp again tomorrow morning, to accomodate dear doctor's busy schedule.
